Blacksmith's shop at Bermondsey

The bigger of the blacksmith's shops was at the junction of the main road and Old Hill, in the area known as Bermondsey.
The last blacksmith was Bert Cundy. The forge was sold after his death,to the council, and knocked down so that the road could be altered.
