Bennett's tannery

This photograph was used by R Bennett & Sons as an advertisement for their goods. Circa 1916/17 On the reverse is says :
Buy : Farmers dead cattle, wool, skin and hides
Sell; wheel grease, tallow, machine oil, leather & belting. There was a 'knackers yard' operating in this area as late as the 1980s. There is now a pet shop on the site.
