Toll House at Grampound

Old Bridge at Grampound showing Police Constable talking outside the Toll House. Torpoint archives have a history of the police in Cornwall and have identified the policeman as Maurice Light. He is listed on the 1901 census as living at the police house. He moved to Torpoint in 1909 so this photo is early 1900's. They have kindly sent us a digital copy of the photo and this information.
